That show at least censors its stuff usually (though I think some things are uncensored in the BD release?). Let's also not forget that (indirect) mentions of sex and other things exist in DxD, as well as that one OVA with the boob monster. And yes, I realize it doesn't have to be nudity to be fanservice, but I used that as an example to get my point across.

As Americans we should be promoting our cartoons and values such as avatar tlab, hey Arthur, Clifford the big red dog, dora the explora, my little pony, barbie and friends... So many great cartoons that don't show enlarged avocados (remember marriage), sexism, over excessive narcissistic characters and hateful and vicious plots. Japanese cartoons are evil and want to take our hearts which we will never surrender. Support our own cartoons and many more ! Finally marvel is promoting our culture of heroism and unconditional love and service to society (strong values) Our superhero movies and American heroes are better than their godzilla and naruto heroes.

DxD is literally about boobs and fanservice, everything from the panty/boob shots to the dialogue, in Bakemonogatari the fanservice is like a side dish to something that actually has substance to it.

Whether something is censored or not is irrelevant to the quality of the show, but it does contribute to the quantity of fanservice(so, what Slash was talking about), which DxD still has way more of. I'm not about to pretend DxD is good. In fact I agree with a lot your write in this paragraph, but you could say a lot of this about Monogatari too. Not to mention the fact that just because Monogatari has "a lot more stuff to it" really doesn't excuse the fanservice.

Yeah it's a bit gross, but that's not even what we're talking about here. Seoulbowz Censoring is dumb. I agree, but that wasn't my point anyway. I don't see how that's relevant to the amount of fanservice it has (though I guess that could apply to what I said as well). EDIT: Why does fanservice need an excuse anyway?
