When in reality his ideas have only had a couple of hits.

With Aldnoah, I don't know what Urobuchi actually suggested initially, so I can't say if the ideas were good or not. They did lean on Urobuchi's name a lot in marketing. And Peytral just listed four things he liked that Urobuchi wrote, and I can vouch for Psycho-Pass.

Sure it was guaranteed to be a fun watch regardless of what I thought of the story but then it actually got good. Good enough to warrant marathoning the entire thing today.

One Piece Over the nine mountains and the eight seas and our earthly realm, there is nothing I can't cut. I husbando this guy alright. Also Bleach. Aizen is brought back as a last effort and before he even said a word he's already mind[radio edit]ing someone. Bleach I husbando this guy as well.
