I had thought for the past few years that I had seen the first two episodes of Magi before stopping (I don't have a high tolerance for fanservice, but could have also been cause bad internet at the time) but nope, it was only the first episode. Wouldn't have gone back to the series if my friend didn't suggest I try it again cause after that episode there's like nothing of what I disliked from the first episode. Only seen 3 episodes now though, but it seems really good. Just that first episode why?

I sense a rocky future ahead for this anime. Honestly, I wonder if it was even a good idea to make it, considering the anime industry shows a great deal of sensitivity toward real life events. Not a bad thing in the least. Nobody felt like seeing a magical girl and an eldritch abomination all but destroy a city in the wake of a tsunami and earthquake, surely? ... In Japan, anyway. >_> Still, if a middle school student attempting to stab a tentacle monster with a rubber knife is considered too insensitive to air, I really have to wonder how the rest of the anime will fare. Assassination is kinda a thing here... (and it's a comedy manga!) The manga's really good so it would be a shame for the anime to get canned. But in this current age, adapting a manga covering subjects such as assassination and terrorism seems risky. I hope I'm not coming across as entitled or anything. That really isn't my intention. I've read the manga anyway so not like it bothers me. I just felt like discussing it. I also started lesbian bears and. uh. what the hell. Doesn't look as good as Utena or Penguindrum, but we're only three episodes in. It might get better...

If I remember correctly, after the earthquake and tsunami they did delay an episode of One Piece where a character uses earthquake powers and actually create tsunamis with them.

There's also a particular Pokemon episode where a horde of Whiscash use Earthquake and that had to be cancelled/delayed due to current events. So yeah, it's a thing they do when they don't want to take risks. In other news, Durarara is still doing Durarara things, but it's kind of not to my taste at this point in time. I just watch it for the creative ways they compose all the events together in achronological order. Also for the author's constant need to ship his own characters. There's relationships EVERYWHERE.

I'm still pretty amused by their relationship. It's a somewhat silly high school kind of thing, but it works. rararagi-san Definitely still digging the language play and puns in this work, it's gr8 and the pls is real, if also realistic (when framed from Araragi's perspective) the "monkey" attack was genuinely freaky as hell also watched the first two eps of kancolle <______________<
