I want overly dramatic and/or hype anime. Music, animation, voice acting. All of it coming together like this If you haven't watched JoJo's yet, then that. Sengoku Basara is also pretty over-dramatic and ridiculous but I don't think it's quite what you're looking for. Maybe Code Geass if you haven't seen it yet? It's not really the same but it's incredibly theatrical. I legitimately can't think of anything that's as absurdly and unfailingly melodramatic as Attack on Titan, though. For something unrelated with good action, Majestic Prince, Symphogear, the aforementioned Sengoku Basara, Fate/Zero or the new Fate/stay night, and Majin Bone are what immediately come to mind. Also @Kiki: The first episode of Yurikuma wasn't very good. I hear the second episode is better, but I haven't watched it yet.

The slice-of-life is real. Sticking to F/Z is a relatively safe bet, though the novels are better. Madoka's only 12 episodes, so it's pretty low-commitment. It's one of my top three series, as well.

Doesn't have to be connected to the above (although that's a plus), one on one or anything. Just as long as it's good. It can be a huge war scene or whatever. For the second/third reqs I'd say Cowboy Bebop but I it's pretty much the exact opposite of dramatic/hype, and I can't remember if you've seen it or not. I'd say Samurai Champloo as well, and it's more dramatic/hype than Bebop, but again can't remember if you've seen it. As for something that I'd say encompasses everything, Darker than Black and Gatchaman CROWDS are what immediately come to mind. Darker than Black might fall on the less hype side of things, but it definitely has the best of music/animation/voice acting.
