Dat Fubuki resilience, hopefully she actually does something this time around. Opening is great, although not without a sequence of the MC running and a not so subtle death flag.

There was a lot more nipple and kinda bad CGI than I was expecting, but the whole ethical debate thing was cool. I'm through 3 episodes of Gurren Lagann, too. I'm not sure what I think about it. The fanservice is actively turning me off of it. :c

Like, you don't really need pay attention and you should just go with the flow and accept what happens and don't think too much about it. Thinking too much destroys it. If that's a good or bad thing is up to you. Allow yourself to be 13 years old again, and you might enjoy it. That's my tip for any show like Gurren or Kill la Kill.

Though, overthinking them would probably be even worse, but only if your willing suspension of disbelief is awful and you can't accept the fact that it's a cartoon.
