Love the fight scenes so far, probably my favourite out of what I've seen this season in that respect. Plot seems to be moving along at a much faster rate, which is definitely nice after the slow-ish parts of the first season. Shocking truth!

This is why I don't like watching shonen anime. (I liked the first anime though so I figured I'd give the remake a go.)

The finale was kind of underwhelming but overall it was the kind of show I enjoy, even if I'd say it's slightly worse than comparable shows. Also Wolfwood is my waifu. Finally going to get around to watching Stand Alone Complex now.

And the last, I don't know, 8-ish episodes were really good. I watched all of them today <.< >.> Also I love the places that they choose to use From the New World. Especially at the part where Niimi(?) is broadcasting that there's an ogre and in the last episode.

As Chrono said, nothing like an archetypal story done well. Also, Peytral and Draco... I started Yuuki Yuuna. >_> I love having a paraplegic protagonist, and the art style is pretty fantastic. I can definitely see the Madoka influence, and Yuuna totally reminds me of Hibiki. So I see why you're both watching it. :awsm: It's also good Japanese practice, ofc, since the setting is a junior high, it's a lot of vocab and dialogue I'm familiar with.
