Show continues to be cute. There are some darker undertones cropping up, and I'm interested to see if they can bring those to fruition in a good way or if it'll end up heavy-handed and disappointingly predictable. The characters are fun, so that's really what's carrying the show for me. There's plenty of comedy and sincerity that makes it worth watching. Plus Yuuna and Togo are totally in love, and it's adorable.

You know, usually I don't mind shows with multiple antagonists because they tend to still be different characters with different ideals. We still know practically nothing about Kamui outside of him having the same intentions as Makashima and apparently being a jack of all trades, master of all for no reason we can perceive, surgeon? check, super op hacker? check, magical drug maker? check. etc. etc.

Ofcourse, they introduce even more characters in episode 5, only to have them (surprise!) be killed off in episode 6 just to show how brutal and "gritty realism" this show is. Instead of giving us more depth on Kamui as a character, they shove mindless action scenes in our face and we find out that the inspector he captured is somehow infatuated with him, then he escapes because Akane doesn't want to harm(or atleast attempt to capture?) a threat to society.

Also, in the action scenes
-They mention the destroy decomposer mode only has 3 shots, which I don't recall being mentioned before despite being a pretty big limitation.
-"The robots have a mechanism to lock the gun when targeting other robots, avoiding friendly fire." is stated in episode 6, but we literally saw one of them get shot down by another in episode 5.
-That explosion in the building was huge, yet Akane and co walk out of there without a single scratch or smudge simply because they were laying down on the second floor. Pretty sure the heat alone would have burned them to a crisp even if they weren't hit by any shrapnel. I'm usually fine with rule of cool stuff but that was just ridiculous.

Wow, I really can't think of one good thing about this episode. Well, maybe kouhai-san going "Eww, creepy!" and then falling out of the chair.

Pretty much everything Silvy said, plus:
a) Why would the camera feeds retroactively recycle everything that had been shown in holo in the real thing? Rather than just transmitting the real-time feeds? Considering most of the drones have been destroyed, they should have only got street drones. I don't know how it's plausible otherwise.
b) Akane being RIGHT there with Kamui, and rather than just shooting him with the weapon she specifically brought to do so, she's just like "hurr durr." And then the forced "omg Togane is like him, clearly I have to stop him for no reason even though it's going to cause the death of countless more people."
And Togane too is revealed as a super generic "I WANT TO COLOUR HER BLACK, HUE HUE HUE"

Literally like nothing redeeming about this show right now.
