So, Sarina is an alien, the cybodies are from space, the vice president talks and sounds just like QB giving its QB vibe and all. Tauburn is the only cybody made by/for humans. And....what the [radio edit] was Keito doing? I'm assuming that Sugata didn't fully recover from what had happened with Zamekh in earlier eps, and that he constantly falls into "deep slumbers", and she uses her maiden powers to.....either heal him or take the burden off him...or something? o__O

So episode 10 was pretty awesome. Psychotic Mami shooting Kyouko, Madoka shooting Mami, and then Homura no Naku Koro Ni.

*ahem* I guess that answers my question of "what if Mami figured out what witches really are?" Also even though Kyoko and Sayaka die every time too, when Mami and Madoka originally saved Homura and the scene instantly cuts to Mami dying I was all ಠ_ಠ

Well......I admit, I was not too surprised about this. But it was nice seeing that all five all them together at once........somewhat nice >_> well, Homura having met them all does explains alot about her character. How she is so experienced, how she knew everyone, her connection with Madoka, and why she doesn't disclose those secrets of the soul gem to them unless it's absolutely necessary(with Mami massacring them and all).

I did like the modified last shot of the OP/ED as well.

Though, Madoka wasn't as powerful when Homura first met her. Did she get stronger each time Homura go back through time? Or is it due to the fact she's more desperate each time?

Homura also mentioned QB's "true form" in ep 8. Could THAT be the real Walpurgis? That could explain QB itself as a familiar to this true form.

Also what was it with QB saying Madoka, the strongest witch, is going to be just a problem for humanity and that they can have the appropriate energy quota. Doesn't it need to EAT her Grief Seed? I'm sensing potential plot hole.

While we are on that, what exactly WOULD happen if a grief seed gets too dark?

Well, there's speculation that Walpurgis Night is witch!Homura, due to the gears and all of that, but if it's just a super powerful witch, it probably isn't Kyubey. And entropy is countered by the release of energy/emotions, right? I think the witch transformation is what gives off the massive amounts of energy. If this is true, then witches are no longer of use to Kyubey, so eating their Grief Seeds to prevent them from reviving is useful enough to him. Less witches mean that magical girls are less likely to get killed (dead magical girls do QB no good), and that there are less Grief Seeds out there to prevent Soul Gems from corrupting, thus speeding up the whole process. If this is the case, then witch!Madoka can do whatever she wants, she's not hindering Kyubey any.

As for Grief Seeds darkening, isn't that what happens when the girls become a witch? It's not like they get any darker...

Well when a grief seed is "used" to remove the darkening in a soul gem, the seed itself darkens. Sayaka was "cutting it close" when she used it on her soul gem. She even commented on how dark the grief seed became before QB ate it. So it can and does get darker the more a Puella Magi "use" it.

I don't think Walpurgis is a witch at all. That was the destruction of the actual city, there doesn't seem to be any witch atmosphere. The fact it didn't seem to leave any grief seed behind also seem to point to the fact it isn't a witch. I'm sticking with my QB is Walpurgis theory for now.

Maybe when the Grief Seeds get too dark the witch revives?

Good point about the lack of a labyrinth though. Walpurgis IS a special witch (if it is one) though, so maybe that doesn't apply? Doubt it though, guess we'll just have to wait and see.

And missed it the first time, but yeah, Madoka's getting stronger or her strength at least isn't constant. First loop Walpurgis Night killed her, yet later on she OHKOs it. Or when she OHKO'd Walpurgis, maybe she just wished to be strong enough to kill it.

I bet that in the end, Homu manages to save everyone in a timeline in the future but ends up becoming Walpurgis and it's up for the rest of the magical girls to kill her.
