^It sounds like an Earthbound song. I really like the Penguindrum OST and how beautiful it gets at time. There are tunes I like more than this one, but I find you appreciate them better when you hear them with the scene playing out. Jojos Bizarre Adventure too. This one is badass and could totally fit in Anarchy Reigns~ 8D |

Anything from Welcome to the NHK. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhPuAqwPLoQ&list=PLtPEvAcvnnhAG70lPKpt8ftpVB-2TCdpO&index=19 This is a song I particularly like, but hopefully this link should provide a whole playlist for anybody up for some melancholy apathetic tunes. |

Here, let me ruin that for you. Also, because there clearly isn't enough Iwasaki Taku representation here: |

Read Uzumaki not too long ago and loved it, haven't read any of his other stuff yet though. That pillar men theme is amazing. Kenji Kawai tends to be pretty great, whether it's original work or an arrange of another piece. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zt3aszq59ts and obligatory Kajiura spam https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B80F86gROF4 |

It's time for some recommendations again. I watched Nichijou, Mitsudomoe and it's sequel Mitsudomoe Zoryochu not too long ago and I found them all hilarious. So to take a step away from deep existential thriller in cyberpunk dystopians I would love you all if you could bring me some animes similar to Nichijou and Mitsudomoe. Just that stupid, random anime humor. I'd rather it have as little actual plot and/or character development as possible. Of course there needs to be something but as long as it doesn't interfere with the random stupidity going on. Nichijou and Mitsudomoe did that perfect imo. They did have plot that continued throughout the episodes, like that robot girl in Nichijou starting school and getting friends, former enemies becoming friends etc. But the comedy was always top priority. Thank you. |

Azumanga Daioh and Hare + Guu are some old comedy anime that might catch your interest. More recently, I recommend Detroit Metal City. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun was pretty good about being funny, too. |
