And I feel like I'm the only one that thinks the CG looks fine. I liked the CG too, alot of people don't like CG mechs in general for some reason even though they look fine mostly. It's easier on the budget anyways so w/e. First ep of Aldnoah was promising, typical start to it but it looks like an interesting conflict. Music was good and the animation is pretty solid to boot. Terror in Resonance had a fantastic first episode aswell, lots of tension and an interesting couple of MCs, great opening and ending theme.

I watched most of the middle bit in one go, but had to space the last 10 or so episodes out to one a day, and now that it's over, I feel bereft, the way you do after reading the last page of a really good book and putting it down, because you'll never be able to re-enter that world in the same way that you did when it was new to you. <3 As you might have gathered, I enjoyed it a lot.

It really is a great series, good balance of humour and serious parts and a memorable cast for both major and minor characters. Just finished the first episode of Tokyo ESP, it was rather disappointing, nice action at times but little else to pull you in. It starts out at the end of the first arc and I'm assuming the rest of the series will lead up to that event like in Berserk and Ga-Rei Zero, unfortunately with the overly villainous antagonists and focus on action without much actual context behind it, it does little to hold my interest. From what I've heard, the manga doesn't do this so it seems like a sloppy move on the adaptation in order to grab attention. They did happen to include these 2 girls as a cameo since it's from the same mangaka though <3 First episode of Prisma Illya 2wei was good for the second half, silly and fun as usual. also

It seems fairly obvious that they're not going to include most of the story from the original, and will probably largely be about Marie and the extra scenes.
