It doesn't have a particularly deep plot, and there's plenty of yuri shipping subtext, especially in season 2. Both are 12 episodes, IIRC. If you like them and want more, the third season is 26. Cardcaptor Sakura is long and drawn-out, has a pretty likable cast to carry it through the 70 episodes with plenty of slice-of-life, and the series ships characters before the fans even get the chance. Fairy Musketeers is- well, I guess Peo's been on you about this, so I don't need to mention it again. He can probably give you better information about it, I haven't seen it for years.
