I also finally got around to watching Rebellion. Rebellion Really liked it. Especially how Charlotte person and Sayaka/Octavia I think is her witch form? were worked into it and the whole Law of Cycles. Really cool. I had already been spoilered about Homura becoming a demon, but I didn't realize how close to the end of the movie that was. Still processing the ending a bit. Heard from my friend that Kyuubey was cursed to absorb all the despair (didn't get it when I saw him at the end).

I was surprised how well-rounded it was with the story directions it chose to take, and the quality with which it handled each one. I also liked how it never really felt the need to rely on cheap eye-candy gimmicks like fanserce and whatnot. It's good to know that modern animes can still on their own. Looking forward to season 2.

Also, any of you guys watching No Game No Life this season? It's getting a lot of hype and it sounds interesting, I'll probably check out the first episode in a bit.

Yeah, first ep was alright. Artwork was fantastic and it has potential but I wasn't super impressed with it. I'll wait till it finishes airing and hear what people have to say about it then. Opening song was pretty great.

True Name: simplechild	No Game No Life is the kind of show that relies on people being extremely dumb to contrast the perfect genius of the main character. Mahouka does this to an extent, too. Also the art is obnoxious. Also incestual undertones (even if there's no actual incest). I DON'T LIKE THING.

So far liking most of the servants better than any of the masters. I think Rider is my favorite character at the moment. He's amusing. Really liking the music.
