If you watch the epilogue closely, it looks like Gamagoori is ready to crash the date and perhaps ask Mako out himself, so there's also that possibility. I think Trigger left the state of both Ryu/Mako and Ira/Mako open to interpretation, myself, which is fine by me. Both sides of the shipping war are declaring victory anyway, of course.

Although I guess the Nanoha movies vary more than the Madoka ones do. I remember the fights in both Nanoha movies being pretty amazing to watch.

I've been meaning to check out the Nanoha movies, saw a couple of fight scenes from them and they look way better than the series. An accurate reaction to Penguindrum Bowz, "lost" is a good way to describe the entire series. Quote: Just watched the first episode of Serial Experiments Lain. I'm not particularly engaged or impressed so far. I guess we'll see. Yeah, I wasn't too sure what to think of it after the first episode. It's definitely a unique series and I ended up loving it in the end but it's not everyone's cup of tea. In other news, Atelier anime looks cute and I'll probably end up checking it out too.
