I also have a MAL, but it's not very accurate. The link should be in my sig.

Being a very very sad and lonely person, I started watching Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica a couple days ago. I have no complaints so far, but episode 3 definitely caught me off guard. Up until then it was pretty much what you'd expect from a magical girl anime.
I'm looking foreward to the next episode.

Just started second episode of Level E, also new.
Really good so far, watch it dudes. Pretty reminiscent of Occult Academy, I don't know if they're linked somehow.

also the theme tune says 'shit down' ololol

also
Beware, I have a feeling this may turn out to be a yaoi.

Watching Fractale, this looks like it could be a cult thing. Seems like an odd mix of fantasy and psychological, though not so much of the latter. It's interesting, but I don't know how it will develop. Very good first impression, though by episode 2 it's already a little slow paced for me.

Well that's three things

Dreameater Merry and Wandering Son are the others that I'm keeping track of

I like Fractale because it focuses on the concept of post-scarcity, but that's the only thing that's keeping me watching. I couldn't care less about the characters because they're not compelling to me.

Madoka Magica was just plain weird. Might go into the next episode later if I have time.

I.S. Infinite Stratos has some pretty nice CG going on, but that's about it.

I'm just going to wait until other series come out and see what I think of those.

I think I've watched them all now @_@
I skipped on Infinite Stratos when I saw it was just mecha and boobs. Mostly mecha, but I don't like mecha.
Freezing I watched almost two episodes of, just to see if it could redeem itself from being another naked catfighting anime, but it didn't. They seem to orgasm whenever they take out a weapon. Wtf.
Dreameater was cool but not reaaaaally cool. I'll watch it so long as it keeps up the intrigue.
If wandering son is the something musuko with the crossdressing then yeah that was alright and I'll keep up to date with that.
Dragon Crisis is another one of those 'woah i obstained the most powerful weapon in the world...OH WAIT NO ITS A LOLI' anime so I gave up after episode 2
Gosick is a detective anime, so it's pretty similar to Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro (If I spelt that right I am impressed). It's pretty predictable but it's still fun.
Starry Sky I gave up on after ep 1 just because it looked dull.
Looking back there are a few anime I haven't watched actually, but I'm tired so not gonna watch any more /o

So far if I had to predict what will be good and what I'm going to like the most it'd be Level E /o/

I actually managed to ignore the perpetual G-cups in freezing, but the last minute of episode one made me want to die.

Fractale has very nice concepts, the level of thoughts put into that really amazes me. I'm having problems getting use to some of the characters, but I am definitely keeping it.

Yumekui Merry has some horrendously problematic concepts for anyone who's ever taken a course in the cognitive sciences, but it is....average, characters are not bad, and I AM being forced to watch it by some undisclosed party.

Madoka is excellent, I had a feeling it would turn out the way it did in the third episode. Not sure why, it seem to easily be building up to that point, and I'm glad that's how they decided to proceed with it.

Level E is very cute, quirky, seem to know how to take itself seriously when it need to, and executes them wonderfully. Nothing bad about it, I'm looking forward to it.

Wandering Son is one thing that takes the theme it's trying to portray seriously, I guess, that's a step up from....alot of other things. It can still take it further though, but for now it's a interesting slice-of-life with a diverse cast.

All of this, in addition to Star Driver is what I am currently keeping track of. That said, Star Driver is getting very very good. I can see some obvious conspiracy plot points going on and what not. Poor Toudori >_>

OH GOD
I made the mistake of watching Wolverine, thinking, 'It's probably not what I'm expecting' but OH GOD IT WAS
I turned it off after a nightmarish 20 seconds

Beelzebub, I don't actually know. From the first couple minutes or so it looked interesting, though not particularly original. The thing that put me off is the CONSTANT NAKED BABY ALL THE TIME EVER
Maybe he puts clothes on at some point idk but the opening didn't look like it
But yeah I felt like a paedophile so I stopped

Also level E totally isnt yaoi my bad

ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS

Sup. Death Note is my favourite anime/manga, followed by Naruto and Bleach, as you can see I've only really dabbled in the really mainstream stuff so I'm after some recommendations (stuff similar to Death Note most preferred) that's easy to get ahold of online. Also I like subbed anime not dubbed >:
I have some time to kill ya see.

Okay, first of all, Clannad and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. You could also try Angel Beats!, Busou Renkin, Kimi ni Todoke, Valkyria Chronicles, Tales of the Abyss, or Toshokan Sensou. I can say more about those if you want. Animeseason.com and animefreak.tv are where I managed to find most of these.

Toshokan Sensou is the biggest disappointment EVER. Just thinking about the amount of potential it flushed down the drain just makes my blood boil.

Y'know, I'll sort of agree with you there, Trac. I did see a lot of unused potential in that series. However, what's there is quite cute and worth a watch.
