They seemed to be the highlight of the entire anime.

The way a lot of them behaved just didn't seem to fit the situations they were in and other times it felt like people were being way too dramatic. The dialogue just seemed reeeeally awkward too, which didn't help my perspective of the characters. I watched the dub, so maybe that had something to do with it. The girl with the face tatoos, Nakiami, was generally fine, but the main guy and his girlfriend annoyed me.
