Been reading Mushishi lately, and I like it. If you've ever seen Kino's Journey, it's like that except it's set in a world of supernatural beings called mushi. It's like reading from a storybook because the stories are separate from each other but they're so interesting. |

Winter 2011 Anime Season ohgod SHAFT is doing a magical girl anime? GOSICK looks interesting too, if only that it's being covered by Bones. Apparently it's in the mystery genre, though. Beelzebub might turn out interesting, but it's shonen so it's doomed to be mediocre in relation to the manga. Also, I didn't think they'd make an anime adaptation of Hourou Musuko. The concept is pretty touchy, but that's not to say it's not well-written. Interested in where that one goes. And it looks like Marvel isn't stopping with Iron Man. Wolverine is coming too. |

Also check out that last one, Gainax is doing what looks like a magical girl anime as well, from a shitton of sponsors. The Zombie one looks like it's gonna be laden with loli fanservice. I'm willing to bet on it. Bones is doing shoujo...goddammit, bones. Don't you have some better series to be animating, like, oh, I don't know, VINLAND SAGA? |
