Ah yes, I'm currently up to date with TWGOK and Bakuman. TWGOK is pretty decent if you take it for what it is, very entertaining. Bakuman has.....interesting outlook, I'm still not fully down with the character portrayals yet. That aside, the rest of the stuff I'm following.

Shiki, totally awesome, setting itself aside from anything I would deem as predictable. It takes place in a rural village, where mysterious deaths are occurring all over. Can't say anymore than that, but its executions is amazing. Plotline, maybe you have seen a more complete one, but the key here is storytelling, and how it shift focus from character to characters and how they percieve these events so no one really feel generic or cardboard like. And the latest episode.....>=3

Star Driver, by the makers of Utena, if you liked that, the formula is similar, not a rip-off, I'd say it's a successor. It starts out questionably, with nothing explained, and all the characters seem to dive into the core of the conceptual construct without any exposition of what they actually know of what they are doing. And it is a bit silly some of the things they say. But, it does develop over time, and it does so amazingly, the amount of details it tosses in, the amount that they left out, both contributes to the atmosphere it gives. And the character all sets themselves apart from the stereotypes, yes there is an "evil organization" of a sort, but they go so much beyond just that. You'll really have to see for yourself, and bear with it when it does get silly, but trust me, it's worth it. 6 episodes in so far, you can ait a bit for more episodes to come out if you wish.

Panty and Stocking, disgusting, bad-taste, toilet humor, overtly sexual and drawn with similar style as the power puff girls. I have never laughed so hard as I did on its first episode, mainly due to the shock value. That formula does not work the second time around, so episode 2,3,4 are somewhat lacking. But they seem to realize this at episode 5, Osamu Kobayashi, yes, the guy from Guuren episode 4 >=D, Osamu [radio edit]ING Kobayashi happened. The second part of episode had an interesting style to it, and some sort of underlying plot starts to show itself around episode 6. It has potentials at this point I would say.

Psychic Detective Yakumo, the story tells of someone named Yakumo with a single red eye which enables him to see ghosts. He is able to see them, communicate with them, but cannot do anything beyond that. It's a pretty solid serie, the characters are non-stereotypical I would say. Pretty decent.

Densetsu Yuusha no Densetsu, or the Legend of the Legendary Hero, I just call it Denyuuden. It's a pretty fun serie to keep track of, the manga readers will probably be less inclined to say that. Either way, it has awesome characters, the flow at the begining is somewhat mediocre, the pacing seems almost generic like a shonen serie, I'm not saying it isn't one, it does have certain darker aspects to it. The first 5-ish episodes builts up quite nicely I would say, then it becomes more shonen-like, but recently it's picked up, alot. The characters are becoming much more likable too.

I have the Denyuuden one on my to-watch list. As it is, right now I'm going to actually finish Angel Beats! since I stopped at episode twelve. >.>;;

Oh Star Driver, what amazing symbolic foreshadowing/farewell scene that was ON A BUS. <3333

I am definitely ranking Star Driver on my top 5 anime at this rate.

Finished Angel Beats! Bawled my eyes out at the final episode, predictably enough.

You should watch Kanon next. Same people who did Clannad.

That's on my list. Right now I'm watching Itazura na Kiss, which was recommended on MyAnimeList as a series to watch if you liked After Story. Kanon was also on that list, and several others, so yeah. /o/

Anyone read Cage of Eden? It's basically a Japanese version of LOST, and I don't know if it's going to have the same plot issues, but it's been interesting so far in its own way.

So I was wasting my time on TV Tropes when I unintentionally clicked an external link to YouTube. It was the uncut ending of School Days. Bad, bad memories were had.

I'm not connecting with the antagonists in Yakumo at all, and all the talk of FATE is getting on my nerve. TWGOK is starting to get shittier and shittier by the episode, the one with the broken game was by far the only decent thing it had.

Started Kanon. I know they made it before Clannad, but I keep seeing things that remind me a lot of it. I guess it just must all be trademark Key stuff.

Katanagatari ended. It was beautiful.

Aside from the crap DragonballZ-classed final fight scene the progression was amazing. Recommending it, if you don't have a short attention span.

So, who else here reads/has read Vinland Saga? Great, great series, good artwork, and [radio edit] YEAH VIKINGS. And I hear it's actually pretty historically accurate, at least with details about everyday Viking life.

Everyone here should watch it and become MEN

I've mentioned it a few times before. I haven't been able to find it online anymore recently, so I'm probably a few chapters behind.

Also lol farming

Here's one. It last updated on the first, so I think it's up to date. And yes, lol farmland saga. Though with the latest chapter we might actually see Thorfinn fight again.

Also I think Canute set the record for most levels in badass took. Bit too quick at first IMO, but hey I'm not complaining.
