Finished Uzumaki last night, twas a good read but I think I have a phobia of spirals now. I wasn't too big on it during the first volume but it definitely got better later on. I usually find horror stuff hilarious but this manga literally gave me the creeps enough that I had to force myself to turn the page at times. The artwork was really well done, between some of the more subtle spirals and the nightmare-fuel spirals growing on people and such, I was mesmerized by it. Spiral-kun is my husbando. Spoilers for Uzumaki Dat ending, had a feeling they would be "completing the spiral" and that dragonfly pond would be the center of the spiral, did not expect that city of spirals below though. Some absolutely gorgeous artwork during those last few moments which was a nice contrast from the grotesque-ness present in the rest of the manga.

Well Ar Tonelico was indirectly a Miral recommendation so I already have that top-tier rec. Peytral was saying Gyo is good as well so perhaps I'll read it later. As for now, gotta start Bokurano. I can't stand all this hating on Sayaka's hair, you guys have no taste in animu hair. Not to mention hating on Madoka's pigtails is awful too even if long pigtails are superior. We can all agree that Homura is awesome but you guys are killing me with your otherwise terrible taste.
