I definitely feel this is going to have Toradora syndrome, as Bowz describes it. I just watched episode 5 and I think it might actually be able to succeed where Toradora failed, and properly resolve each girl (which looks more and more like it's just Linda) so we can actually accept Koko and Banri. Or maybe I'm just accepting it since I know how Toradora is and the source is by the same author. :\|

He can't be the biggest badass when Rachel and Jin exist, well I suppose he can be when Jin exists but still... Golden Time is definitely going to be Toradora/10 with the true pairing, the opening just reeks of obviousness. Or maybe it's just setting us up for some twist where the actual pairings are Koko x Linda and Banri x Mitsuo or something.

Yeah, it's a slow start but it starts to get interesting right where you're at. I love their take on time travel and the more "scientific" reasoning behind it as it's a refreshing break from the usual time travel via magic/god powers you usually see in anime. Yeah, Satugross overrates Prisma Ilya because it has his waifu, it definitely isn't bad but it wasn't great. Would've been better if it didn't have the >> become magical girl >> collect 7 cards >> the end approach.
