I don't like MotW either but Prisma Illya is an exception due to obvious reasons. But yeah, iunno. Peytral mentioned Symphogear or Nanoha? I don't think Draco would like the former, unless she bought into that it's basically a fighting musical.

Refrain and the routes that haven't been done are where the story gets amazing.

I was sitting there eyes glued to the screen the plot was so good. It was impossible to miss the all the details in the plot, THATS how much work was put into it. By the end I was very satisfied that I had the chance to see such amazing plot and just sat there with a feeling of bliss.

I hate monster of the week, which is a lot of magical girl, yeah. So I guess you could read hating motw as hating magical girl but it's not really the same at all. Yeah, Sailor Moon is pretty much motw, but I think I said earlier (maybe I didn't) that the motw-ness of Sailor Moon makes it hard for me to watch even though it's hilariously campy and enjoyable most of the time. Most of the reason I like Sailor Moon might be nostalgia, but if it really was awful I wouldn't keep watching it. Dokidoki Precure is literally the most magical girl series ever, though.
