One of my friends has been bugging me to watch Mushishi but I haven't gotten around to it(doesn't help that he bugs me to watch a lot of things), sounds like a good show though.

Mushishi is a quiet, slow-paced travel narrative about a man named Ginko wandering the Japanese countryside, as it is his job to resolve supernatural problems and issues of the people he meets along the way. The episodic nature of the anime serves to highlight the many different aspects of Ginko as a character, as well as the diversity of the terrifying and beautiful fictional beings (mushi) that are part of his expertise. The anime goes to great depths to bring up themes and topics such as agency, identity, reincarnation, social constructs, symbiosis, and many more thanks to how each individual story is set up. I, too, recommend you find the time to watch it.
