Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

But if it's just a sign that the show has plateaued in terms of overall craziness, then I suppose I would be fine with that.
It's okay it's foreshadowed that Mako's going to destroy all life in the universe so it'll probably get crazier.

Mako confirmed for antichrist.
No, no. She's not the Antichrist. She's the Ide.

^Yeah, took me some researching to get that reference. Definitely the Ide.

*Goes to watch Ideon because hahaha like Asph knows what he's talking about*

By the way, just watched Episode 3 again and enjoyed it much more. Lots of small humorous bits I'd forgotten about by the time the credits rolled.

this seems like a top class anime
It really is the classiest of the classiest awful fanservicey anime series. The general message of the show is that everyone should reject conforming to school uniforms and instead wear BDSM outfits or alternatively, get naked. This is truly the deepest anime I have ever watched, it's even deeper than Evangelion.

Don't listen to Silvy. All he does is spread lies and slander. It's actually about scissoring.

Yes, scissoring in BDSM outfits.

(I don't know whether or not you're serious about this but don't because the series is really long, tedious, and boring and the finale movie being absolutely amazing doesn't really make it worth it)

also boyd PLS

I'm probably going to sit down and check out Be Invoked tonight and see where that gets me, because yeah, I'm hearing iffy things about the actual TV series.

Be Invoked really won't have nearly as much impact as it should if you don't watch the TV series, though. That's the big problem. Be Invoked is my favorite movie of all time, but I never recommend it to anyone because you really can't jump into it and Ideon is really inaccessible. It's more of a "finale" to the TV series itself, and it jumps right in and doesn't introduce any of the characters or anything. I guess you could technically watch A Contact first just to get a vague idea of what's going on, but a lot of the impact would still be lost.

A big thing is that although the TV series is boring, you still spend 39 episodes getting acquainted with the characters, and at the same time it strongly sets up and foreshadows the legendary power of the Ide. Be Invoked is where it comes to its big conclusion, and those 39 episodes of familiarity all come crashing down on you, and you finally see the true terrifying extent of what the Ide can do after all of the buildup.

Simple, you always know how to recommend exactly the kind of anime I like. <3 Hataraku Maou-sama was extremely enjoyable. If you have anything else like that or that you think I'd like, send it my way, I'm looking for a new series to watch.

It surprised me too. It had zero fanservice, well-written characters, pretty good pacing, and was genuinely funny with some sweet parts too. It also wraps up nicely in 13 episodes but leaves potential for a continuation.

It had zero fanservice
Then what do Chiho's Chihos count as?

Also it is hilarious and great, but I'm still surprised. Hence "for some reason."

... yeah I wouldn't say zero fanservice, but yeah.

Glad to see you joined the McSatan brigade, Amydorf. :awe:

But the question is, which is the better pairing for McSatan?

Rather, I didn't see anything that was there solely to titillate, it was more character driven. But then I'm not the one that sort of stuff is aimed at.

Also, tsundere hero all the way. But they're all good characters.
