Only complaint is that it's pretty much required to know the material beforehand in order to fully enjoy it. Also, they "censored" the mana transfer again. Gotta love CG dolphins, though. Having finished watching this myself, I have to agree. If you haven't at least seen the anime/played the Fate route in the Visual Novel you'll probably get lost. If you do know the source material, then it's an action packed distillation of all of the fight scenes from the most badass route of F/SN, with just enough plot cues in between that you still know where you're at/what's going on in the story...helps if you've read UBW in the visual novel though, but again, just the bare minimum of familiarity with the series should work. ...I must say I didn't expect them to not pussy out with the more violent images though, I mean it was nothing really gruesome or anything, but still :U Also CGI dolphins; at least those weren't poor as hell quality like CGI dragon and that scene was actually adapted to the censorship rather than in the anime where it's just lolwut.

Ys I anime spans 7 episodes, and the Ys II anime spans 4 episodes. ... and of course I watched them both over the course of one days. ... and then proceeded to upload the anime's soundtrack two days later. shut up im not obsessed

It's basically like Astro Boy except you replace all the Action with Slice-of-life. There's an ONA series but I watched the movie. Still really good.

Of course the movie didn't help by going over her dead body so much; that's just plain torture ;~; Also the moonlight scene with Shirou and Rin was more of a "d'aw" she loves him moment than just a help her out when she's down thing, but otherwise the movie conveyed the general feeling pretty accurately. So yeah, you're probably fine unless you got lost or something.
