The general consensus is that the first season is awful and the second season is great, so yeah.

It's okay. I do the same thing when I reeeeeally like an anime I just watched. I almost immediately start re-watching it to get a better sense of the anime as a whole, with its ending freshly in mind throughout it. I did it with .hack//SIGN, and I'm currently doing it with Gosick.

I've seen worse than it before, at the very least it was entertaining from start to finish which is more than some series had to offer.

I've probably watched through .Hack//SIGN like 10 times by now... By "recently" I mean "around five months ago" apparently. And basically yeah, Silvendorf. I'm at least decent at acknowledging the flaws of things I like and looking at them objectively but I never got the Symphogear hate that much even though its plot was stupid at times.

Yeah, when someone atleast acknowledges something's pros/cons I don't mind it but when they're just like "this sucks lol", or "this is the best anime ever" I can't stand it. I literally had a conversation with someone that was like "oh, I didn't think Eva was perfect, first of all-" other person gives me this death-stare and says I'm an idiot "....yeah, umm, it was great I mean, hehehe" I've been meaning to watch .hack//sign for a while now as my friend always goes on about how much it sucks(he's been watching it off and on for months), seems like a pretty good show to me.
