If I can find a good source to recap the first 25 episodes of FMA without spoiling the second half, that will be my next series. YESSSSS, the second half is more interesting as it doesn't have as much filler as the first half. Wikipedia usually has episode summaries for the more well-known series so you could just use that and make sure you don't scroll past episode 25. Ooh, that's a good idea. I was wary of Wikipedia because of spoilers, but individual episode summaries would be just the thing. Thanks!

Almost. If by almost you mean that the majority of the plot from the entire FMA series is summed up in the first half of Brotherhood, then yes. I didn't mind the pacing of Brotherhood being much faster but I can't help but wonder what someone who didn't watch FMA first would think of it.

I didn't even know Brotherhood sped everything up until recently when I read that a certain disturbing arc takes place over three episodes in FMA but only gets one episode in Brotherhood.

Many of the episodes simply aren't carried over to Brotherhood, being minor stories that don't matter, and as you mentioned, several parts are condensed heavily. There's a couple things after those points that still match, such as Greed's introduction (episode 34 / 13), but those are where significant plot changes begin in FMA.

Now I can't keep track of what episodes I'm on /firstworldproblems Watched the first couple of episodes of ef - a tale of memories and wasn't that impressed. The main characters just don't seem very interesting and the romance is rather dull IMO. It has some very creative artwork as expected from Shaft and the music is nice though.

A billion things can go wrong, and sooner or later, it will. At the anime convention I just wend to, the video rooms for anime viewing were streaming anime from the internet. Things went wrong. Today there was a training presentation at the place I'm about to work at, and they depended on the internet for video. Things went wrong.
