What's your thoughts on it?

Silvy and I were pretty hyped for it... probably still give the first episode a watch, at least. And yeah Solbowz, she's pretty tsundere. Just finished Symphogear, pretty cheesy end but definitely feels, reminds me a bit of Sailor Moon-Dragonball Z. But given that Goku is basically a magical girl, that more or less makes sense. for the end of symphogear And like I was just saying to Pey, I really really like how they never came outright and said that the original language that's common to all people and that reaches the creator is music even if it's really obvious, given Tsubasa wanting to share her music with the world, and music being the way of activating the ancient symphogear. I would've liked if the Biblical themes were foreshadowed a bit earlier, like if Ryoko was religious, wore a cross, or like was given to praying or religious curses. Also on the note of "subtlety done well," I'm pretty sure that Ryoko and the Commander were having a love affair, but they never said it outright. After Ryoko talks about the mysterious love affair, the camera immediately cuts to Genjerou walking (though we also know later that it's the Creator as well), she stops him up short by saying "Genjerou!" when he's about to punch her, and how he's crying when she breaks into dust. But yeah so much ridiculous over-the-top badass in the last few episodes, I was literally laughing (because it was so cool)

Is it just me or did the animation start to get really bleh at times later in the series? It was definitely cheesy and over-the-top badass towards the end as Satty said but that's probably what made it so great. Also, Noise = Gnosis from Xenosaga. Spoiler: click to toggle So much ignoring logic for the sake of badass though, first they sing their swan songs and get revived, then they fly into space and survive, then they sing this epic climactic triple swan song thing... and survive. I wish we had a bit more of Kanade before she died in the first episode and a bit more background on Ryoko but considering it was only 13 episodes I can let it slide. Also would have liked some background on Genjerou's power as well, seems like there's more than martial arts going on there. Definitely lots of lulz worthy badass moments though, "MEGADETH PARTY" is the best attack name ever.
