Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

It's really good (for a 'generic shounen' lel). If anything you should be watching it for Captain Bravo alone.

The OP is the most hot-blooded thing ever. Also, as far as female characters in shounen go, Tokiko is pretty great at staying, you know, relevant after the male main character gets introduced.

Watched the first four episodes. It's pretty entertaining, and I get a slight FMA vibe from it for obvious reasons.

Also Tokiko is Mitsuru Kirijo. I knew she sounded familiar. Now I'm getting even more Persona vibes.

So, just finished the 5th episode of Bakemonogatari and it's a strange show to say the least. I wasn't too impressed with it at first but it's starting to grow on me bit by bit.

I've been trying to watch that for over half a year I think, and I've only got to episode 9. I enjoyed the first two arcs/girls/whatever a lot more than anything I've watched since. It's not my cup of tea but I can understand why people like it.

Caught an obvious reference to Shishio in Buso Renkin. Nice. Also, "Sword Samurai X"

Eden of the East could've been good.

And then the ending happened.

And then the movie.

oh man, now I'm worried. Ah well, I laughed at the terrible penis jokes so at least I got something.

EDIT: okay i'm on ep six, getting sick of gender steroetypes in this show. there are so many female protags, none of them DO anything
it's still a good show though

AND I'M WATCHING THE DUB, THEY NEED TO STOP SAYING JOHNNY
NO ONE SAYS THAT.

I'M NOT INNOCENT!

This pass week I watched Madoka Magica, Eden of the East, and Free! Iwatobi Swimming Club.

Madoka Magica isn't the typical magic girl show but it is still good. Eden of the East is great but I dislike cliffhangers -__-
Free! Iwatobi Swimming Club is a new anime that started a month ago. So far it is good. The fifth episode will come out on the seventh.

I need to finish Eden of the East. And I can't wait for more Free! I was sad that there was no episode this past week.

That's not constructive, Moose. I have no idea what point you're trying to get across.

I'm on episode 17 of Buso Renkin now. Some twists happened last episode, although this is shonen so I know everything will turn out okay in the end.

I'm not sure it's my cup of tea either. I love the supernatural elements being incorporated into slice of life-ish episodes, but the episodes being divided into character arcs is rather disappointing as I tend to prefer characters actually being relevant for more than 3 episodes. At least Senjougahara is still around in the later episodes though considering she is my favourite character so far.

Pretty sure there's some shounen out there that has the main character die/suffering in the end so I wouldn't be so confident Slash.

Also, Madoka is God-tier.

I don't think you get what Slash means.

When he says "this is shounen," he doesn't mean "this is a show of the shounen demographic"

He means that Busou Renkin is basically the physical embodiment of shounen anime.

Oh, my bad, so it's one of "those" shows.
