True Name: simplechild	Been going through my backlog during my offtimes instead of trying to follow current animu. I really liked Kaiba. The show built endlessly upon its fascinating premise, and I'd say that episodes 3-7 were the ones that entertained me the most because of its travel narrative structure (think Mushishi or Kino's Journey). The plot kicked in and that was still good, just not as good as that middle part. I'm in the middle of watching Eureka Seven and I'm half "this is really cool" and half "wtf". It's very, very similar to Xam'd and that's probably because they're made by the same crew. Currently at episode 17 out of 51 though, so it's gonna take me a while to form a complete opinion about this show.

Also, thoughts since they switched OPs on me spoilers up through episode 16 i guess -Taiga is annoying. -There's so many unrequited feelings in this show it hurts -I don't know how they're going to resolve everything in the next 9 episodes -Especially everything between Minori and Takasu -Maybe they won't, though, I'd be ok with that -The student council president was a great side character, it's too bad she's in the US now -I wish the gym teacher was in more episodes -Ami is my favorite character -Takasu's bird is ridiculous -Actually, a lot of things about this show are ridiculous but that's part of it's charm -lol, Sudohbucks

Watched the first episode of ~~the adventures of loli-gravekeeper~~ Kamisama no inai nichiyoubi and I gotta say the artwork and music are amazing, it's a little early to form an opinion on the plot and characters but it certainly has an interesting beginning. Also finished episode 8 of Girls Und Panzer and 7 of Gilgamesh. GuP is everything I was hoping it to be at this point plus the fight scenes are amazing. The characters each having their own reasons for taking up Sensha-do and whatnot is definitely a plus considering I was kinda worried it might be another "cute girls doing ______" episodic show. Gilgamesh is definitely as slow-paced as people say but I have to give them props for creating an edgier show that doesn't have hilarious amounts of blood and gore so I can actually take it seriously. I like the art-style but the choppy animation took some getting used to. Also, Kiyoko Madoka is instant waifu-tier because she has perfect-pitch and can sing/play piano. If this show goes in the direction I think it's going to go, it's gonna get a lot more interesting.
