Wikipedia claims the muzzle velocity of the gun (the speed of the bullet as it leaves the rifle) is 850 m/s. For argument's sake, we'll say the bullet doesn't slow down enough in the distance traveled to make any significant impact on our calculation. Saeko is purportedly 1.74 m tall, and a screenshot of her standing straight (very hard to find) shows her boobs making up (132-99)/(424-27) of her body height. That is, they are ~0.145m from top to bottom. Bullets appear to be 3.3cm (.033m) long. Gonna say 4 cm between breasts because I'm already lazy this far in. This means that the bullet has 1cm of air to travel through after fully clearing her right breast in which her left breast must get out of the way. If you watch the point past which the bullet barely grazes, you'll notice that this point moves around 12cm (not quite from the top to not quite to the bottom, by the previous paragraph's estimation). Her breast has to move 12 times the speed of the bullet in order to not get shot. That's 10,200 meters per second. That's 30 times the speed of sound. It's also, incidentally, ~5000Hz. If she kept that motion up, you'd hear something along the lines of this if you did not, in fact, hear the sound of breast flesh tearing itself from its anchors.

True Name: simplechild	I think the anime I'm most anticipating for Spring is Aku no Hana. Because the manga is [radio edit]ing messed up as [radio edit] and it's going to be hilarious when I show this to the anime club. Also I've been watching these animated shorts called Otona Joshi no Anime Time. They're short stories (25 min. each) aimed towards ~~strong independent black~~ women. They're fascinating if not for their introspective look into Japanese culture for women.
