Now I just like the higher overall quality, because I like shiny things, as well as the fact that I can just plug the PC into my TV and watch there, and rewatch what I want to when I want to and without any extra steps to get to my content. That said, I have external storage for all my animu crap, so space isn't a worry.

However, for some, like myself, we just don't notice it if there's not two side-by-side screenshots. I've downloaded episodes for some series if I couldn't find them to stream easily, for example, and I don't recall thinking that they were such better quality that I had to switch to downloading all the time. Sometimes you just don't really notice things if they're not important to you.

I don't think anybody is arguing that (at least I wasn't). Just that you -can- get (relatively) high quality from streaming. The only reason t stick strictly to downloads is if you're a qualitywhore, which is fine, but not everybody cares that much about quality.
