Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

If you mix Indiana Jones, Castlevania, and a shitload of steriods, you get Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Its one of those series that overdoses on camp, style, and Rule of Cool without taking itself too seriously. You'll root for it about as much as you are laughing at how ridiculous everything is.

Oh Draco, you simply must watch Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai and Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun when they end in about two weeks.
Actually I'd say it's more like Fist of the North Star, except no gore, it's set in the past and not the future, and is actually rather fun.

As effex said "Jojo's is set in a world where the 80's won the culture wars. They won it so hard, in fact, that the AWSOME and RAD has spread backwards and forwards in time, resulting in eternal rock."

Recently, in the manga department, I've been enjoying Cage of Eden, My Girl (by Sahara Mizu), The World Only God Knows, Taiyou no Ie, Ratman, Nana to Kaoru, Denpa Kyoushi, Nisekoi, Mangaka-san to Assistant, and Kimi no Iru Machi.

Oh, and Liar Game and a few others that update exceedingly slowly, but are still really good.

Despite the second half being DRAMA and darkness? :awe:

Though, Tsuritama IS very good. It isn't groundbreaking but it has some nice character progression, and although it has some things that should aggrivate anyone watching it (one word; HARU) it manages to make them work really well. And the whole friendship motif was warming without being sickening.

I was reading Denpa Kyoushi and thought "Hey this is a nice GTO clone" and then it kinda admitted to being a GTO clone and I lost interest. :I

It's not really a GTO clone.
Carry on reading.

Yeah, I was wtfing at the "child abuser" part too. Pedophile, sure, even though that's technically the wrong term, but he doesn't abuse anyone.

...Well. Not sexually, at least. Some of the things he does definitely go into the abuse range. >_>

It's like Great Teacher Onizuka combined with The World God Only Knows combined with Negima.

That said, it's actually got some pretty original plots and character developments, it's interesting.

Right there, you've just never listened when I told you to read it before.

Have I ever made a bad recommendation to you?

I never watched any mecha series. I remember when Gundam whatever was on Toonami, but that's it. Also, I remember it used to have a huge fandom which people would rant about, and they had a pretty crazy system of shipping that looked like advanced mathematics.

I still haven't watched it. It's the only part of the franchise I haven't watched aside yet from AGE. :awe:

Also, @Draco:

If Xam'd counts as mecha, then maybe I'll have to look into other series like it.
