Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

The Light of Hope

Eden of the East was okay up until the ending where it crashed and burned.

"On November 22, 2010 ten missiles strike Japan. However, this unprecedented terrorist act, later to be known as "Careless Monday," does not result in any apparent victims, and is soon forgotten by almost everyone. Then, 3 months later... Saki Morimi is a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip. But just when she is in front of the White House, Washington DC, she gets into trouble, and only the unexpected intervention of one of her fellow countrymen saves her. However, this man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, is a complete mystery. He appears to have lost his memory, is stark naked, except for the gun he holds in one hand, and the mobile phone he's holding in the other. A phone that is charged with 8,200,000,000 yen in digital cash.

That's true. I give a lot of things a 5 or a 6, which I consider average or slightly above average.

10 is perfect. i havent watched the perfect anime yet.

9 is exceptional and super nice!

8 is very good and i enjoy it

7 is an anime i look forward to

6 is an anime i watch to pass the time

5 is dull and i kind of regret wasting time on it

i havent got any 1-4s on my list because i generally stop watching anything that bad straight away

i get bored easily

I kind of have the same thing as Moose.
Except I have one or two animes with a 10.
And K-On! gets an 11.

see thats my reasoning for not having a 10 yet, i dont want to find an anime i like significantly more than baccano and then have nowhere to place it - if k-on is an 11 for you then you cant show that accurately with your current rating system! (you should probably put it at 7 since thats the absolute limit of what it deserves anyway)

unfortunately my harsh rating means im bringing down the mean score for pretty much all of my favourite anime

but im right i know it D:<

10 is perfect. i havent watched the perfect anime yet.
Then what's the point of even having having a 10. There's no such thing as a perfect anime.

Probably.

No, denied, just look at my list. :awe:

Edit: Seriously, though, if you go with "10 is perfect" I'd still give Cowboy Bebop a 10.

9 - Fantastic
8 - Great
7 - Good
6 - Above Average
5 - Average
4 - Below Average
3 - Bad
2 - Terrible
1 - Complete shit
0 - Why was this made?

Assuming you guys are talking about MAL, it just calls 10 "Masterpiece," which, while a loaded word, doesn't really mean perfect in every way possible.

I have like maybe two 10s on my MAL, but mostly 7s or something like that. I'm very picky with how I spend my free time, so I generally don't watch something unless I know/think I'll like it, so I don't have many scores below that.

MAL tries to put a subjective concept in an objective manner with a standardized grading scale, which is both okay and misleading due to the fact that people have different definitions when it comes to what is considered a "10" as opposed to a "9" when it comes to a good anime , or a "7" as opposed to a "5" when it comes to an average anime.

Ever heard of Four Point Scale? Not entirely relevant, but it's a thing.

You also don't have any 9's IIRC, except maybe Canaan.

Also I really think they should change "Masterpiece" to "Amazing". It's basically the same but feels less pretentious.
