I'm not sure where the 10 year gap happens in the manga, since the anime was entirely pre-gap. Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, I think you're coming next. Watching you as fiction is going to be a bit strange, after last March, but I think it'll make you all the more enjoyable with that added sense of realism.

Watched (most of) it again, still need to watch the movie (for the second time). After seeing Brotherhood, it just pales so much in comparison. It's a decent anime, and I think Dante is the better villain, but all in all the source material is a lot better. FMA 2003 is like FMA lite. Also some of the episodes are pointless and feel like filler (the one with the kid that's actually a girl but looks like a boy comes to mind). The VA isn't as good either. The 2003 anime also completely ruined Envy by making him...not envious and just whiny. It also ruined Bradley by making him Pride instead of Wrath.

With the exception of Sankarea, which only slightly ruined my day.
