True Name: simplechild	I say you sit through the dub and have a full opinion of it rather than just dismissing it. I don't know the quality of this particular one myself, but I've sat through several dubs of other anime and end up appreciating them, even if in some cases I prefer the Japanese dub better.

Also Cristina Vee come on. Mami was the only iffy one for me but that's probably because I was used to the Japanese. Not that Mami matters much since you know. Of course nothing can match Japanese Kyubey.

Actually, I prefer to watch things in English, thanks. I just wasn't impressed with the first episode of Madoka. And I wasn't dismissing it. If I were, I wouldn't have asked about the quality for the rest of the show. Cripes. (But thank you for the answer about the voices themselves.)

True Name: simplechild	If you really can't handle the derpfaces and just want a good story, start at episode 9 of After Story because that's when people start saying that it's good. You'll miss some context, though, if you do that.

I'm well aware that the ending to After Story is generally considered to be one of the best endings ever, but like I said before none of the rest of it sounds appealing, nor does it look appealing. I might watch it eventually, but it'll be a while until it gets to that point. @ Dimple: I really only watch things in order, I'm not a fan of skipping episodes like that.
