Started rewatching the Gokusen anime. It's been about...six years since I first watched it, back when EncoreWAM! used to basically play the same anime series over and over and over. Gokusen was definitely one of the better ones that aired on the block; even watching it now, six years later, I still enjoy it. After a while, they changed some of the anime before the block vanished entirely, though for a time the only four shows in rotation were Gokusen, Saiyuki Reload, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and Mirage of Blaze. The first two were actually pretty good, the latter two...eh. Samurai Deeper Kyo was something I watched once through and enjoyed it, though I realized how dreadfully boring it was. Mirage of Blaze was just plain boring; I couldn't even get through an episode of it. I didn't have high-speed internet at the time (this was around 2006, I want to say), so I was stuck with whatever I could get on TV. |

No, it was just strangling in the light novels too, except words such as "fainting" and the victim "crumpling to the floor" imply that the victim was picked up (I wouldn't call their arms giving out "fainting" or "crumpling to the floor"), making me question what the [radio edit] Ufotable was thinking with that >__> |

I feel like, you could interpret "crumpling on the floor" and "fainting" the way the scene played out. They're mostly just standard strangling words, imo. |

Why does it not surprise me that the cold-hearted vigilante assassin is number one by a huge majority, and the stoic psychopath is second. ಠ_ಠ Anyway I imagine a lot of people voting for Rin or Sakura mistakenly thought it was referring to them as they appear in FSN. At least, I very much hope so. |
