Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

These people have a bad habit of weaving great stories and then not bothering with an ending

Only one more Rave Master volume needs to arrive before I will have the whole series! And then I can sit down to a glorious reading binge and get closure on a series I started whilst a sophomore in high school.

Rave Master's a pretty cool manga. Average shounen, but it was entertaining.

No one gets any and trains are allergic to love.

The End.

Also Hyouka continues to be either deliberate with pacing or just plodding along. Depending on how much you enjoy it so far.

Yeah, pretty much this. Part of why I didn't really care that much for it.

Voices of a Distant Star's ending is much better.

how can you defend hyouka
save for maybe the shockingu pinku guy the protagonists are all dislikeable
theres no pacing because theres little to no plot
and in the unlikely event that there is in fact a plot, itll most likely end in a similar fashion to the episodic "mysteries"

do i have to remind you about the OH MY GOD HES SMOKING episode

Going to watch Voices Of A Distant Star. I have been watching episodes of Fairy Tail here and there since someone recommended it.

My heart definitely went out to the Palm-top Tiger. Minori was awesome too, though, and Ami definitely had her moments. But Taiga was my favorite.

And Ryuuji's eyes are the best ever.

8/12 with Ano Natsu. Thoroughly enjoying it. Helps that I like this cast of characters better than those in Ano Hana. Got any other recommendations for when I'm done with this one, Simple?

You know that the last seasons of both Shana and Zero no Tsukaima are out, right?

I'd suggest Katanagatari. If you can get past the borderline pointless conversations the characters have at times, it's about a strategian girl seeking the help of a warrior to collect 12 swords, and how their relationship develops along the journey. The art style is rather... unique, but not too out there. Also, the soundtrack is delightful.

Try Nichijou. If you're not convinced by the first couple of episodes, you're not going to enjoy the rest of the series, but I'm pretty sure you'll like its sense of humor.

On the same vein, Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (Daily Lives of High School Boys) has a different brand of humor but is still funny as hell.

Why haven't you watched Bakemonogatari yet. Or Steamboy, for that matter.
