Can anybody suggest me an anime where the English voice actors DON'T sound totally lame/shitty/the women are annoyingly high-voiced I mean WTF who talks like that? Basically, I wouldn't be embarrassed to be watching it in English when I COULD be ignoring the actual voices in Japanese. |

^Rurouni Kenshin? There are two different dubs for it, although I've only watched one of them, and the voices are pretty top-notch IMO. The only girl who is pretty noisy at times is Misao, but that's part of her character. |

FLCL's English voices are actually pretty good. Gwydd: I just figured Vinland Saga would fall well within your area of interest. Also because I think very highly of it. :3 |

Rurouni Kenshin is about samurai or something. Also the guy uses the blunt side of his sword for some reason. I dunno, I haven't actually watched it. FLCL is... well, it's difficult to explain what it's about. It has aliens, robots, South Park references, and some other weird stuff. It's by the same people who did Gurren Lagann and Evangelion (FLCL was actually the studio's sort of antidepressant after Eva's ending). Edit: Role's right, it doesn't make much sense until the second or third time you watch it. It's not really supposed to, though. I recommend watching the first two Samurai X OVAs, as they basically explain everything that happened before Rurouni Kenshin began, and gives you an idea of what it's about. Anyway, Kenshin Himura has resigned his title as the Battousai (the name given to him when he was an assassin). He swore to never kill again due to a certain incident shown in Samurai X (and eventually explained in the actual series), and uses a reverse-bladed sword. He has become a wanderer and wanders around Tokyo, but meets friends and foes along the way. It may sound boring, but that's all I can really explain without spoiling it. The real goodness starts in Season 2, which I believe begins at episode 32. I'd give it a watch if you can. |

Oh, and if you do watch it, I highly recommend stopping after episode 62; from then on, it's a bunch of filler arcs until the end of the series, made by people that had nothing to do with the original episodes (IIRC). Basically, it's just like Naruto's filler arcs after episode 135 or whatever: terrible and not worth watching. The manga continues on from where episode 62 left off, and actually has a decent, relevant arc. |

I dunno about Naruto. I know Bleach has a ton of filler arcs, but they're good anyway. In fact, I think there's more filler than actual main story. Of course, "Filler" is debatable, as it's only filler for the manga to catch up. It's actually decent story. The only anime I've ever watched is Digimon, Trigun, Death Note and Bleach. So, that's what I'll talk about a lot. *Shrug* |
