Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Get a male button up shirt.

Get a female blouse.

Stare at the buttons.

This thread should include pictures for those of us who don't have a female in the house but still want to know what you mean without buying a blouse.

I found out because my French teacher pointed it out while we were studying fashion, methinks. Before I thought the difference was random.

I was about to say that no, I didn't want to know... and then I thought of one way, and now I want to know.

I read it somewhere. Can't for the life of me remember the exact reason why, though.

Reason: Women used to have maids buttoning their shirts, while men did it themselves. Thus, the buttons on a blouse were swapped so that from the maid's perspective the buttons were operating the same way.

Never knew that. Another thing to file into my ever-growing enormous mental cabinet of Useless Information For Your Everyday Lives.

On a tangent, Men are supposed to put their belts through counter-clockwise, and women clockwise. I usually belt through clockwise, though.

Sound the horn and call the cry: "How many of them can we make die?"

I found this out when I was like 8 by reading Encyclopedia Brown.

Didn't know about the belts, though. I do counter-clockwise.

Here's another one, while we're at it. When you put your pants on in the morning, do you zip them up and then button them, or vice versa?

Vice Versa. Button first, then zip.

Of course, one may forget to do the second step sometimes and that would result in unnecessary chagrin once reminded by a colleague.
