It has pretty much what you'd expect from the first part of a 3-act story, some exposition on Axe Cop's origin, a sideplot which leads to the discovery of the main conflict, and just enough coverage of the villains to keep you on your toes about what will happen next. |

You know those six preview pages posted earlier? Just the stuff in there. So it kind of fits with what we already knew (Axe Cop just walked into a police station and signed up to be a cop), but conflicts with some other stuff (what happened to all the fighting moves he got from Fighting School as a kid?) |

Yes, the two illustrators are pals so I expected this to happen sometime! For some reason, the King of All Bad Guys looks like he would fit right in as a monster in a Dragon Quest game. I read an interview where they said that if an Axe Cop game were to exist, Malachai decrees that it would be called "AXE COP VERSUS EVIL." Seriously it would work really well as a beat em up type game, either like Castle Crashers/Scott Pilgrim, or even like the LEGO Star Wars games, with tons of characters who all have different capabilities, only not LEGO related. Also buy Bad Guy Earth so I have someone to talk about it with |

So I don't know if any of you have heard of this card/board game called Munchkin, I hadn't before, but they're making an official Axe Cop version of Munchkin this fall. No idea if Munchkin is in any way good though. So in order to start more discussion because it's pathetic that nothing in this forum gets posts besides the anime topic and Homestuck. What are your top 5 characters, whether recurring or one-offs or whatever, in terms of their visual design? For me I think it goes: 1. Super Uni-Man, such a badass 2. Handcuff Man, a BAD GUY EARTH exclusive seriously it's only 3.50 you cheapskates 3. Bomb Joe, and I honestly don't know why I like him, the bomb for a head is appealing for some reason 4. Ralph Wrinkles's robots that he used in the Evil Baby Bobblehead Battle at Big Beach. Best robot legion ever besides Servbots 5. Axe Cop himself. That perfect '70s-'80s cop show look with the mustache and aviators. Pure and simple, a cop with an axe. |

Axe Cop Munchkin? DO WANT. (Basically, Crash, Munchkin is a card game that, in its original form, made fun of common tropes and cliches in D&D. Over time it's expanded to cover more media as well, like swashbuckling adventures, the Cthulhu Mythos, and other stuff that's common among the gamer crowd.) |

Character ranking, huh? In that case: 1. Wexter, he's a giant fire breathing dinosaur with machine gun arms that can fly. Any one of those reasons is alone is enough. 2. Book Cop, his mustache is even better than Axe Cop's, and he still has all the awesome. 3. Super Uni-Man, yeah, you really can't deny he's badass. 4. Avocado Soldier just for the pure hilarity of the concept. 5. The King of All Time, sure, his appearance is nothing out of the ordinary, but damn, that trident. |
