Up was a kid movie. Maybe I'm just older and bored, but I've seen it at least three times before. They had a touching moment about living together and dealing with death, but I wouldn't call it anything more than Good. I really didn't see anything exceptional about it.

I loved UP, Zombieland, Avatar, Sherlock Holmes, it was all fantastic. I'm content with that.

That introductory montages was so wonderful and the movie was great all over the place! So why haven't I owned it on DVD? I just asked myself that question and for the record, I saw Avatar and couldn't understand the hype. It sucks. (Princess Mononoke gets the idea through better than all those other "Man and Nature attempt to live together" movies.) Screw the media, they just like to suck up to anything that looks monumentally awesome just to look good. I do like Sherlock Holmes too. And Star Trek despite not being a fan like many others. Never seen Zombieland because the undead frighten my very soul. Well, just about most slasher films really. Oh and to touch back up on Up, I too did not cry at the beginning sequence so does that too make me a Heartless Soul?
