One of the reasons I like QC (which seems to be a rare thing here) is that you can still feel a pretty solid sense of Jeph getting overall better at what he's doing across the comic. Not everyone starts out as Van Gogh, and even fewer start as that strange hybrid of Van Gogh and Shakespeare.

My 'bad webcomics' list is currently Achewood, Ctrl+Alt+Del, Errant Story, Flipside, MS Paint Masterpieces. It also formerly contained 'Ape, not Monkey' and 'Sinfest,' before those crossed the line from bad to actively detracting from my day to read. EDIT: Also Cyanide and Happiness used to be on there too. They produced the occasionally amusing comic, but far more often they produced bland shock humor.
