What? Were you expecting something different to be my very first topic in here? Its pretty much an addiction. Don't judge me! Arguably what made the series so popular in the first place, discuss it here. Personally, I can't really divide what song is my favorite overall... or which arranger is my favorite... or anything about it, really. Theres just too much to choose from. |

Personally, I'm a toss up between Septette for the Dead Princess, Beloved Tomboyish Daughter, or Kagome-Kagome |

Septette for the Dead Princess does get bonus points for having a ton of awesome arrangements... Why, like this one, for example. Posted it earlier, but hey, its awesome. |

I would have to seperate favorites based on game, now that I think of it. EoSD would have Septette for the Dead Princess, yes. Also Beloved Tomboyish Daughter, for being so absolutely ear wormy. PCB would be Border of Life, particularily when the second half kicks in with the last spellcard. IaMP... well, I haven't heard much from IaMP, unfortunately, so I can't say. Edit; Well, I have a newfound love for Onigashima in the Fairyland and Broken Moon. Particularily this arrange from TAMusic. IN has Reach for the Moon, Immortal Smoke. Somewhat repetitive it may be, its absolutely fantastic. While it doesn't get as much love in arrangements as some others, the few it has are incredible, like this one by CROW'S CLAW. IN gets a long entry because Mokou is my favorite character in the series. Yes. PoFV may probably be the weakest music wise, but Wind God Girl is great, to me. Edit; WAVE I LOVE YOU SWR has just about everything. Seriously, almost every single song in it is great, I really can't choose... MoF has a good deal of great ones, Candid Friend, Native Faith, Suwa Foughten Field, really. Its another one thats difficult to choose.... I hadn't really looked into anything for StB. Sorry. Similarly, I think ZUN upgraded to a new synthesizer for SA, and really, every song is great. My favorite would probably be Third Eye, though. Also of note would be... well, Solar Sect of Wisdom ~ Nuclear Fusion, of course, and Be of Good Cheer!, which has been remixed into everything. Even Thriller. And, of course, from the UFO demo is Tiny, Tiny, Clever Commander, which is hilarious in that its so epic for a little mouse girl. Supplemental material he does is awesome as well, like Greenwich in the Sky from Magical Astronomy. |

I only just started playing any of this series last week and haven't tried paying attention to names of songs yet, but I like both BGMs for stage 3 of EoSD. |

By the way! Everything from UFO is awesome. This is basically Jesus' theme. She's called a 'Youkai Savior' or something, and she's the last boss. And she's fought in Makai. And she has a spellcard that's pretty much identical to one Shinki does. Hmmm. OH DAMN SHE'S NOT WEARING ANYTHING ON HER HEAD. That makes two in one game! Flandre 2.0! Unfortunately I've heard she's the easiest Extra Boss yet, which is a little disappointing, but she's got a great, insane theme.... AND SHE'S HATLESS. WHAT. That's three in one game. That's never happened before! This is my favorite of the bunch, though. Captain Murasa! GIANT ANCHOR BULLETS! Stage four boss. |
