Well, remember the tidal wave in GS2? Why would they be happy if the firing caused wide-spread devastation and death? The good effects always took a long time, or at least longer, to arrive than the good. I'd say it seems likely that people took it as the end of the world, then any good things came days, weeks, or months afterward. Remember Shaman Village? Moapa was boarderline on giving any aid, and the rest of the village still seemed to dispise you after Trial Road <.< THey'd have to wait until some sort of benefits were seen by the return of Alchemy, and that could've taken *decades*. |

In my opinion? Possible, yes. Likely, no. |

It seems stupid to make books 1 and 2 all about breaking the seal on alchemy only to reseal it again. So... I kind of agree with Satty here. |

I agree. I must admit I still hold out hope that he is actually a decendant of Felix. (that would explain his Marsish look as he is from a Mars/Venus family) I dunno, he looks too serious to be Garet-spawn. Also if the lightning is an indication that he is a Jupiter Adept then this could be Felix-Sheba lighthouse-shipping. Contrived? Probably. Impossible? Hell no!

I say that the desendants will be trying to reseal the lighthouses at first, then realize their mistake after sealing them all and have to go unseal them all again. xD |

I think the most important unknown factor here is how Camelot feels about Lamarck. If they, like most, tend to make kids look exactly like their parents/ancestors, then we can safely assume that the two main guys are descended from Isaac and Garet respectively. If not, then a good portion of our guessing is rendered moot. |

You know, some of the members who often visits Golden Sun Realm may already know this, but it's better not to leave it untold: RPGamer posted another version of the Gameplay Footage showing the action in both screens (Better seen in HD. It also has some commentary, but are about things already know), which (besides the fact of the summons looking cool as possible) also shows a worth-to-note gimmick: During battles, the Upper screen gives an interesting view of the Djinni pool as some kind of pocket dimension with a nice summon crest as background where a specific number of them are discarded from, whenever a summon is casted. Excuse me while I wonder what they were thinking when they chose the word "descendant". Unless they're deliberately wording things so that they're technically telling the truth while still managing to confuse everyone with misleading but technically correct information. I probably would. :3 |

Maybe descendent was just the best word to use. "Follow the children of the original cast..." "follow the offspring of the original cast..." Iunno, decendents just sounds best. |

"Descendant" does sound best in the context of the phrase they were using. Also, again I must ask: Does this mean Ivan/Mia is canon? |
