Obviously, GSDS is the biggest thing for all of us, but were there any other games that you got really excited hearing about? For me, I'm really looking forward to M&L: Bowser's Inside Story, but that's not really new (the game's been out in Japan for months already), as well as New Super Mario Bros. Wii (co-op Mario has always been something I've wanted) and Metroid: Other M. |

And these two weren't announced per see, but Mario and Luigi 3 (am I the only one who thought Bowser's Inside Story was a bit of a surreal name? Though it makes sense) and Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles for Wii. Just for the whole *bang* *bang* LEON BEHIND YOU |

Well, Mass Effect 2 of course. Army of Two:The 40th Day. Umm...Singularity, Darksiders, Shadow Complex, I think Borderlands was there. What else? Maybe Dragon Age. FFXIII obviously. Maybe FFXIV, depending on whether or not they decide to put it on the 360, and the subscription fee. The Saboteur, Assassin's Creed II. Star Wars:The Old Republic, regardless of the subscription fee. Brutal Legend (Lay off Activision...wankers) Left 4 Dead 2, fo sho. Oh my, was that a lot? Why yes, it is actually. Oh well. |

I was looking forward for Final Fantasy XIII. Mario Galaxy 2 looks like a fun game but I probably won't buy it. |

Alan Wake was a game I hadn't seen or heard of before, and I thought it looked pretty damn sweet. A lot like Silent Hill, but if it was designed by me. I'll be keeping an eye on that one. The Nintendo court was pleasantly full given how last year was lame as hell. I was excited about the prospect of new Mario games on the Wii, and even the mentions of another Wii Zelda game are nice touches. GOLDEN SUN DS was, obviously, of considerable interest, but all things considered the lack of information shown has set my anticipation to stew away in my heart and wait. Compared to that... the stuff that we saw for Metroid: Other M made me lose my jaw and simultaneously ruin every pair of pants I've ever owned in twenty years. As a HUUUGE Metroid fanboy, I want it. I want it a lot. Hell, at the moment just based off what's been seen, I want it even more than GOLDEN SUN DS. Didn't pay much attention to the other consoles as I still don't have any, but the PC has a couple of interesting titles, most notably Left 4 Dead 2 and Star Wars. There was also one game that is really damn nice that I'm looking forward to, but it wasn't shown at E3 because it comes out next week... that game being Prototype. Can't wait for that one. 2010 is going to be one hell of a year for gaming. I hope I get that EB Games job I went for today, then I'll get insider information. |

Metroid: Other M is the primary focus, tied with GSDS. While I have enjoyed Metroid as a very solitary game in the past, I have also believed it would be great if you were placed in an interactive environment with other people. I had hoped Corruption would do this, but sadly, it did not. This rekindles my hope. Various others I am looking forward to playing/seeing more of, of course, such as SW:TOR and Mass Effect 2. |

Metroid: Other M is a prequel, taking place before even the original game, right? Unless the guy saying "Any objections, lady?" was just another robot with Adam Malkovich's mind in it, it has to be. |

It's a prequel. Covering much of Samus' backstory, including her time in the military and everything before going full bounty hunting. So there will likely be a bunch of plot that'll tie in all the events and bits and pieces we've heard of in the previous games and perhaps finally tie it into something a bit more cohesive. Plus they're not sacrificing the presence of Ridley to do it. This is awesome. |

I looked into it, and apparently it takes place between Super Metroid and Fusion. How that works, I have no clue. It must be some extenuating circumstance that gets her working under a CO, since she hasn't been a member of the Galactic Police since before Metroid. I suppose we'll see, won't we? As for Ridley, I would love for the end of the fight be that Ridley gets flash-frozen, which would explain his presence in Fusion. |
