She's not really that hard, just grind and waste her. But yeah, she can be a god damn nuisance. AND I PICK CYNDA BECAUSE I JUST PREFER HIM OVER TOTODILE WHICH IS WEIRD BECAUSE I ALMOST ALWAYS PICK THE WATER STARTER. |

Fire is one of my favourite types, so I almost always pick the fire starter for my first run-through of the game. In D/P I picked the grass starter though, as I really dislike monkeys. |

I just pick whatever starter I think looks the coolest. Charmander, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, and Turtwig for me. AND [radio edit] WHITNEY DX I forgot how I beat her, really ._. |

I wasn't aware the Miltank was all that infamous among Pokemon players... I'm assuming that everyone knows the Fighting type is super-effective against the Normal-type, right? Frankly, Miltank would be considered easy by a lot of people if G/S/C's Fire starter was either Torchic or Chimchar, because their evolutions are both Fire/Fighting types. |

So, Serebii just announced that you can have any one of the 493 Pokemon following you around in this game. Yes, that means Arceus too. |

So I get to have a Marill follow me? A Noctowl? Even Mewtwo? If there was any doubt that I'd buy these games, it just got vanquished. |

Yeah. It's neat and everything, but what actual purpose does it serve? It's not really a deciding factor as to whether I buy >_> |

Does it need to serve any actual purpose? As someone who pays attention to art value, I look forward to seeing all of them in their animated overworld sprites in multiple directions. ^_^ |

If left blank, your default title currently will be: Phasmatis of Elementum

Holy crap I get a Mewtwo to follow me around! Wait, this actually will make this game very heavy, Diamond and Pearl were only 64MB while Platinum was 128, maybe this one will go to the awesome 256, thing that I only saw on Tales of Hearts and Suikoden Tierkreis. |

Great. Because when I was playing the other games, all I could think was "I wonder if Sceptile is feeling giggly or cautious today?" >_> |

Loads of new info just came out on Serebii. Apparently, you can get a Kanto and a Hoenn starter later on in the game, and a whole bunch of the legendaries are catchable (including being able to get both Ho-oh AND Lugia in the same game by yourself). Also, Pal Park is confirmed to be back. So much for the "Nintendo wouldn't push something that's not compatible with the DSi" angle that people have had going for a while. That's good news for GSDS as well. Ah, and one more thing. The gym leaders' rosters have been changed; it also appears they have all increased their levels in comparison to the original games. |

Oh snap. I could have a Blastoise, a Typhlosion, and a Sceptile all at once? Now I want this game even more D= |

Yes, you can! One more thing, according to the site you can trade with D/P/Pt as soon as you get the Pokedex. I assume they mean the National Pokedex, but if not, that's kinda cool. Though most of your traded Pokemon won't listen to you and all that. |

Holy shit. Also you have always been able to get both, Lugia and Ho-oh on the same game, so I don't think that is news. |

Truly True is indeed true. It just was annoying and hard to get them when they weren't your game's creature. |
