The thing I am most passionate about when it comes to video games is less the playing of them... and more the having of a massive collection of them. I purchase games that appeal to me from various genres and amass them, knowing that I don't have the time to play them all completely and watching as many go untouched or unfinished. But I take great comfort in knowing that I have them whenever I want them. This extends to a number of consoles and systems, but there are a few games on one particular system that I've never been able to acquire, mainly because I never had the system in the first place... The Sega Dreamcast. However, a little searching on Ebay in my boredom turned up a few deals. I'll cut to the chase... I've found a stupidly cheap used Dreamcast. It's PAL, it has two controllers attached, has all the needed wires with it, and is in reasonably good working condition, no games. The bidding will end in about 40 hours, and it's currently at... 20 Australian dollars. About half that in US dollars. Additionally, I also found brand new unopened copies of Soul Calibur and Jet Set Radio for 20 Australian dollars each, both PAL. These ones can't be bid on, they're just Buy It Now, but the bidding ends in less than a day for each. Do you guys think these are worthwhile purchases? |

Well, the auction on the Dreamcast will probably go up within the next forty hours, but if you can try to get it for really cheap, go for it. The Dreamcast rules. |

Jet Set Radio is awesome, and you'll know how great Soul Caliber is. Heck, the DC in general is awesome and terribly underrated. Short answer: Get it. |
