Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Twilight Princess. Is there any advantage to playing the Wii version over the GCN version? If so, what? I'm trying to figure out which version to procure and play.

Nope. They are exactly the same, unless you like the motion controls. Oh, and the versions are mirror images of each other to accompany that. For example, Gerudo desert is in the west for the GCN, but east for Wii.

uh oh

Wii you can swing your Nunchuck or whatever just like you were Link, which is awesome. On GC supposedly the graphics are better because they don't sometimes lag like the Wii does.

Oh, and as a note, the Wii and GC versions are mirrored. IE, if it's right on Wii, then it's left on GC, and vice versa. North and South are not reversed.

The GC version is a legitimate Zelda, because in the Wii, Link is Right0handed. He is not right-handed, therefor the Wii-version is a fake.

Actually, Bane's got a point. The locations in the Gamecube version are roughly the same as Orcarina's. The Wii version flipped it because of Link's right handedness.

Shadow pretty much summed it up.

But it'd be wierd playing with the Nunchuk on your right hand...

Also, I approve of this topic.

If you liked Ocarina of Time or any of the others, I particularly remember the Gamecube version for the traditional controls, having played it myself, it's exceptionally fun.

Realize the Wii version was supposed to be the "Legitimate" version as well. They only mirror'd the game, because they saw a ton of people playing the game right-handed during E3 as compared to Left-Handed.

The other difference is the Wii version has a lot of exploitable glitches that make running the game faster [Speedrun]. One glitch is you can walk on the upside down metal platforms without the Iron Boots.

I'm a world-builder, so GC is by far the more 'legit' version and it's easier to encorporate from a fanfiction/fanon/discussion comparison point of view, but that's up to you.

If minor canon details bug you, then Right-handed Link will probably bring death and agony.

Same as above: There is no in-game reason for Link to have a fairy (the Wii-mote cursor) showing him where to go, since your helper is Midna <_<;

I'm pretty sure that, since TP was one've the first Wii-releases, the controls tend to bug out. But this's just from complaints and grape-vine hints, I haven't tried and/or experienced it, so I'm not sure if the bow works smoothly like it's got a serious tick.

Regardless of which one you get, if you need help from walk-throughs and what-not, you need to be careful about GC/Wii differences since the Dungeons themselves are also twisted around.

I'd go GC, but if you really like the motion controls and exploiting glitches, then go for it <<
