Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

That's about where I see myself too. I'm conservative, but I don't have stupid extreme views on most things.

This reminds me of when I wanted to major in political philosophy.

Like many here, I'm a left-libertarian. I reject the reductionist liberal/conservative labels and identify as someone in the progressive / green mold - people like Jill Stein, Naomi Klein, Ralph Nader, and Noam Chomsky -, in opposition to the corporate, neoliberal ideology that's beginning to dominate the world.

If you go through all the old posts, Suezo is also in that quadrant.

The fact that we have so many people in the lower quadrants is proof that our governments are not majoritarian. People consistently vote against their interests.

Plus we're predominantly young. Also people inclined to digital interaction. Remember, the anti-authority hippies of the 60s are also the baby-boomers of today. >.>

Pretty sure I am more libertarian than I was about two years ago, when I took this same test.

While I get what some of you are saying, I disagree partially. People, in general, feel alienated from politics and don't know how to participate other than voting every four years for one of two options.
Especially coming from an activist background and living in a VERY political city - San Francisco -, I'm surrounded by people, young and old, who know the system as corrupt. Because of our left-progressive tendencies, the majority here were apologetic of Obama - who "inherited George Bush and was facing Romney in a tough re-election" -, bit their tongues, and voted for him. But most, nevertheless, hate his polices, ranging from hawkish foreign policy to a hesitance to pursue an environmental agenda, from tackling climate change to pushing things like sustainable development.

I can assure you that if a third party candidate like Jill Stein or Gary Johnson had actually been invited to the "official debates" (like Ross Perot in 1992) this last election would've looked VERY different. We're stuck playing the "lesser of two evils" game.
Not that electoral politics is everything, but voting in one's own interests is a way of sending the political establishment a message - not reinforcing their own.

...Yeah, I'm not really sure what this means. I'm not a very political person. I tend to only really care about social issues. I don't have nearly enough of a grasp on economics to even pretend like I know what I'm talking about, so I just ignore it as a whole.

Wow.
I didn't realise that the Temple was so left-wing.
Can't say I'm too happy about that but meh.
I don't hold political views against people.

The internet in general has been decidedly left-wing for as long as I can remember. <_<

Hmm, maybe it was just where I was. My primary forum before ToK was LUE, on Gamefaqs, which was also a very solid demographic of gamer teens/young adults.

It made for some boring political discussions, at least until the trolls arrived.
