For some reason, my Xbox 360 hates Tales of Vesperia. It randomly freezes during certain screen transitions, and if I have my hard drive in, it'll say that the disk is unreadable when I enter most battles. It isn't the disk's fault because I tried a different Tales of Vesperia disk and had the same problems. However, my Xbox 360 plays everything else just fine. So, despite how my 360 feels about about Tales of Vesperia, I'm just going to have to play through it knowing that it'll freeze roughly once an hour. I bought an otherwise unnecessary memory card so that it wouldn't say the disk was unreadable, but I'm afraid there's nothing else I can do. Anyone ever heard of something like this happening? a system not being able to correctly play a single game? Not just that one disk, but that game? |

Solution: buy a Wii. Use the 360 as a space heater only. |

I already have a Wii (got it last year for Christamas). After Vesperia, it's on to Symphonia 2. ^_^ Jackal, my GT is: Smittles the po (slightly different from my board user name) I'm afraid you'll only see me on Halo 3, but judging from what your user name could refer to, that might not be a problem. Halo's the only FPS I've ever really liked, probably because of its story. |

Well, I've had this problem in cases where an entire batch of discs was made incorrectly. An example that comes to me right now isn't a game; it was Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, which, upon initial DVD release, had one scene that it messed up at for a huge number of peoples' discs, mine included, because all the discs were made defectively. Just a possibility, that Vesperia was all manufactured with defects. Have you found other X-Box Vesperia players to have the same woes? |

I'm afraid I've already looked into both matters. I haven't found anyone with this same type of problem (I tried some message boards and google searches). I tried the new game install feature, the same problem occured as when I entered battles. It comes up and says the the game disk is unreadable, except in this case, it would never let me get to the start screen. |
