So, anybody play this? Or even have it? (besides Dark Link, I already know he does). Regardless, discuss. I want to hear everyone else's thoughts on it. Yes, I have it, but I just like talking about it. Or, we can talk about how awesome Zelos is. That works too. But anyway- Discuss. |

Zelos is still badass in this game, but the game lacks extra content. I haven't touched the game, but both of my sisters' beat the game last week. I'm just saying whatever they've told me. No Cameo battles, no side-quests [well there's some, but there's very little], No replay value. Their opinions. Once I get around to playing it I'll give my say on it. |

Finished it... It was okay, but it wasn't as good as it could've been imo. As Boyd's already seen, I made a topic of my take on it on gameFAQs. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage....&topic=47705590 |

Haven't finished it, but I know most of what'll happen. I loved the previous game, especially Sheena and Zelos (I'm a Sheelos fan ^^;). I agree so far that there should be more sidequests - as well as a little more action from the first games' characters. Wish it was possible to level them up and train them, buy equipment, etc. Marta and Emil are cute together, sure, but I still think the game could've been better. So far as I've gone, anyway. Wish there was an overworld map and you could always access every city. Monsters are a nice touch, though. Uhm, guess that's all I have to say for now. I'm a sucker for nice RPGs, though, with rich worlds, storylines, and characters, so with the lack of RPGs around now, this one was okay. |

I CAN'T BEAT THE FREAKING NAZDROVIE. Seriously, it keeps using seafood gels to revive all it's health. It's impossible. So far this is pretty good. I like Emil, since he's the first RPG hero I've seen that isn't all, "Save the world with my burning red heart of courage!!" Marta is creepy though. Richter is cool, but I hate his stupid courage line. I like that Regal doesn't wear a belly shirt anymore. It's fun to revisit all the towns from the first game. |

It's a LIGHT FROG! It's not that hard...just aerial combo it to death. Regal will wear the shirt again later though. But it won't be forever. Marta will grow on you. She'll stop being so fangirlish while you're in the Temple of Darkness. Just a bit, though. I beat it too, but I really didn't like Emil at first. He gets better as it goes on, though. Ratatosk Emil is badass though. Zelos and Lloyd need better voices, though. Alright. Mini-review time. The game was pretty good, but how much you like it really depends on how much you liked the first game. Lots of fanservice. Anyway, what the game meant to do, it did pretty well. The monster system actually works, and its more than just a cheap gimmick. There are plently to chose from, as well. I like the remixes, especially Full Force, but I don't like some of the new themes. The new battle music for quests gets old REALLY quick. The mystic artes are really flashy, and although Regal's is meh, they all have uses. So...yeah. The game shows its budget in other places, such as the limits on the original cast: -You can't put them in slot 1. If you want to play as one of them, you must switch to them every battle. -They can't gain experience. Not such a big deal when they are temporary, but when they stick around at the end, they are stuck at Lv. 50. -You can't change their equipment. -They can't use unison attacks. In all it's pretty decent, but you'll get the most out of it if you're a fan of the first. Why they won't let you use Richter's mystic arte is beyond me, though. It's not fair D= Oh, and Kiki-Courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality. Deal with it. It will come back a lot. Even in the final boss fight. |

Yup. There's not much in the game that a good aerial combo or Radiant Roar won't fix =P He'll be back to the suit later, don't worry XD |
